Emmanuel College Resident artists participate in Contemporary Art and Artistic Practice, an art history course offered to students during the summer residency. Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown The Fine Arts Work Center offers a unique residency for writers and visual artists in the crucial early stages of their careers. Located in Provincetown,Massachusetts, an area with a long history as an arts colony, the Work Center provides seven-month Fellowships to twenty Fellows each year in the form of living/work space and a modest monthly stipend.

Friends of Family Planning Art Show Family Planning of Martha’s Vineyard opened its doors in 1978, providing reproductive health care services to women. Since then, Family Planning has experienced phenomenal growth and now offers a wide range of clinical, educational and advocacy programs for both women and men. Among the services we offer are STD screenings, morning after pills and a vasectomy reimbursement program. (Artists are welcome to donate 40%-100% of sales to this great cause- keep in mind most galleries typically take 40% of sales anyways and this place is in a densely populated area for buyers)
